TC Design was set up in 2001 by Tom Cavanagh.

Tom had worked for 25 years as an architectural technician in the telecommunications industry. A keen photographer Tom studied photography as a mature student and after graduating joined the Irish Professional Photographers Association. Specializing in photo manipulation Tom combines an in-depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry, experience in site searching and architectural drawing, with the artistry of professional photography.

Portrait Photography

Tom’s photographic portraits capture the personality of the sitter and are always a cherished memory. Tom uses a portable studio and will travel to your home or workplace to do the shoot.

Photomontages

A photomontage shows any proposed construction in a clear and easily understood manner and may in some cases eliminate the need for a CAD drawing. A photomontage enhances the presentation of any project. Photomontages are often used for planning applications and appeals.

Visual Assessment Surveys

These are generally carried out at the request of planning authorities with photographs being taken from specific points or areas. Unless otherwise requested all photographs are taken at a focal length which mimics the human eye. This gives an accurate undistorted image, equivalent to what the viewer would see.

Panoramic Photography

There are a number of reasons, both artistic and technical, why a panoramic photograph can be extremely useful, for example when showing the potential coverage of mobile phone antennas or when you want an image to create a dramatic visual impact.
